CORONAVIRUS 🦠 The Ironman Metal Recycling team take the health and well-being of all our customers, colleagues and staff extremely seriously and are taking a series of strict measures to ensure we can provide a safe, secure service to you.

Our collection team are fully equipped with protective equipment, including masks and gloves, and sanitise their hands before and after each collection, as well as cleaning the vans thoroughly during the day. 

We also follow the government advice on social distancing to reduce any risks of contamination.


We wish you your families the very best of health and pledge to continue to give the best service we can, whilst also ensuring  the safety and wellbeing of everyone around us.


We also are registered with gov.uk/coronavirus to ensure we stay on top of updates as and when they happen. 

CORONAVIRUS COLLECTION DELAYS🦠 

Due to the new government guidelines put into place within the scrapyards our waste tip-off times are taking longer than usual and therefore having a knock-on effect with our collections throughout the day.

This is due to the safety measures the scrap yards are taking to protect us all from covid19. Vehicles are only being allowed in one at a time when tipping out waste so waiting times in some cases has doubled or even tripled.

  We appreciate we all must follow the guidelines and ask for your patience during this time. Please be assured if we are unable to get to you on the day we advised we will do our very best to collect your item on the next collection day. 

If the above does affect your collection day and we are delayed we will keep you updated to the best of our ability.
